Details: Dear brothers and sisters,my name is Antonello Are,i am 35 yrs old and i live in Italy. I livespecifically in Sardinia (a wonderful island in the middle of the MediterraneanSea). I am writing to you beacause I wanna explain what this island is like…We have a population of about 1,600,000 people….and not more than 1,300christians attending different evangelical churches…all this churches welldivided in denominations and rarely if not never cooperating between them…asad situation that doesn’t help to preach Gospel and doesnt’allow christian toshow God’s love to the unsaved.There are 7 Brethrern Churches (quite strict and legalistic and absolutely anticharismatic and pentecostal), 5 Assemblies of God..quite closed to otherpentecostals and very formals, 1 Church Evangelical pentecostal Elim verylively and open, 1 reformed quite good and lively but very isolated and needsencouragement, 1 apostolic church quite good but small, and all the others arefree pentecostals often extremely pentecostal, and 2 baptist churches that usedto be very good in the past but now are absolutely liberal and ecumenical andpolitically left wing and promoting the gay marriage and dialogue with muslimsand buddhist…so not very faithfull to the Scriptures.Now I wanna ask you to pray for this island (Sardinia) and the whole country (Italy) to get free from Catholicism and secularism…but even for new missionaries ready to love this land and preach the Gospel tothe unsaved..please think if you can send us couples ready to spend a whilehere to help the local christians and promote Jesus…or even to open newchurches…please listen to my request.With regardsAntonello Are
