I am writing to you beacause I wanna explain what this island is like...We have a population of about 1,600,000 people....and not more than 1,300christians attending different evangelical churches...all this churches welldivided in denominations and rarely if not never cooperating between them...asad situation that doesn't help to preach Gospel and doesnt'allow christian toshow God's love to the unsaved.There are 7 Brethrern Churches (quite strict and legalistic and absolutely anticharismatic and pentecostal), 5 Assemblies of God..quite closed to otherpentecostals and very formals, 1 Church Evangelical pentecostal Elim verylively and open, 1 reformed quite good and lively but very isolated and needsencouragement, 1 apostolic church quite good but small, and all the others arefree pentecostals often extremely pentecostal, and 2 baptist churches that usedto be very good in the past but now are absolutely liberal and ecumenical andpolitically left wing and promoting the gay marriage and dialogue with muslimsand buddhist...so not very faithfull to the Scriptures.Now I wanna ask you to pray for this island (Sardinia) and the whole country (Italy) to get free from Catholicism and secularism...but even for new missionaries ready to love this land and preach the Gospel tothe unsaved..please think if you can send us couples ready to spend a whilehere to help the local christians and promote Jesus...or even to open newchurches...please listen to my request.With regardsAntonello Are

Details: I started this once...hope I am not repeating myself.But I must have pressed the wrong button or something.My oldest son went to Bible College about ten years ago in a large city andended up getting caught up in the Homosexual lifestyle. OUr lives have notbeen the same since. He recently found out that he was HIV positive and hassince then attempted suicide. He is so very angry...I am worried that he willtry again.He has a movement disorder that causes him much discomfort yet he is a faithfulworker and a wonderful person...but he is very very angry at God andeveryone.He was a very anointed singer for the Lord.I need others to stand in prayer with me for him. I long to see him in a goodrelationship with the Lord again as he needs Him very much. Secondly, all human helplessness must be dethronedand Christ's righteousness enthroned. Thirdly, and in accordance withephesians 4:6 I acknowledge the Holy Spirit as above all, through alland in all. The ONLY time satan has a chance is when we dethroneChrist of his rightful place above all, through all and in all in ourown lives. This teaching is also from Smith Wigglesworth who shouldrequire no introduction to intercessors. These three points are myfocal point. Since understanding this, everthing around me has falleninto place. I know and appreciate that most of these prayer requestsare genuine and need attention. However many simply reveal theimmaturity of the person asking them. It's like when the children ofIsrael got moses to approach the Glory for them. Likewise manyChristians expect intercessers to "do it all". I was like that myselfnot to long ago, but I've come to realise that if I really want to belike Jesus, sometimes we've got to stand on my own two feet and spendsome of my own time in 'Gethsemane'.Thankyou for your time and I apologise for my frustrations.
